Why Did You Have to Go?

Maybe it was all my fault

That you had to suffer, wait and cry.

But what about me?

-You left, leaving me alone to die.

Maybe the time wasn't right, 

But you should've held on.

I waited like a barge for you

Only to realize you were gone.

Maybe you were right,

I wasn't supposed to be loved, 

But what do I do without you now?

You were the only one to make me feel heard.

Maybe it is truly over, 

But I don't want this to end. 

We both know the hard truth 

That these hearts won't mend.

Was it real or just in my head?

Cuz I have never felt so low.

You've hurt me, but I still love you.

Then, why did you have to go?
